Shoot tip in vitro culture of taro( Colocasia esculenta )was conducted.Basal medium was MS,and the effect of different hormone types,different concentrations of hormone,sucrose and different culture conditions on shoot tip proliferation,rooting and test tube plantlets induction was investigated.The differentiation and proliferation medium was MS+6 BA?2 0?mg/L+NAA?0 5?mg/L+3 0% sucrose.Rooting medium was MS+6 BA?0 1?mg/L+sucrose1 0%.
