《洛丽塔》从语词游戏到结构布局都戏仿传统侦探小说这一题材。纳博科夫在小说中重构了侦探小说的叙事模式,改"追查罪犯"为"确认受害人",从而推动情节的发展。他还彻底颠覆了小说中的侦探形象。这些都体现了纳博科夫唯美主义的艺术创作观。
Lolita has allusions to traditional detective fictions. Nabokov reconstructs the narrative pattern, moving the plot along through tracking down the victim rather than the villain. Furthermore, he reshapes the role of the detective in the novel. The parody of detective fiction best illustrates Nabokov＇ s artistic view of ＂art for art＇ s sake. ＂
