摘要
为促使英语斜体在学术出版中的规范使用,按照相关细则,结合示例,归纳了斜体使用的主要范围,区分并解释了斜体、正体与引号这三者之间易误用、混用的具体场合。
This paper is intended to standardize the use of italics in academic publications. In accordance with the rele- vant rules, the author summaries and explains, with specific examples, the conventional uses of italics which differ from those of roman and quotation marks.
