摘要
结合科技期刊编辑工作的实践,提出了科技期刊编辑应具备的能力素质要求,即除了应具备扎实的编辑业务知识和技能外,还要对所承担的栏目所涉及的相关专业有广泛涉猎,及时了解学科专业发展方向,掌握前沿动态,具有对稿件的敏锐洞察力,同时要具备与作者和审稿专家良好的沟通能力.
Based on personal practices in the editing of technical journals, capacity and quality requirements on editors who are occupied in scientific and technical periodicals are proposed, including intensive professional knowledge and skills in editorship, extensive scope of knowledge for corresponding column （s）, timely learning of the development direction of disciplines and specialties and cutting-edge trends, keen insight of contributions, and good communications with authors and reviewers.
