This paper first introduces the importance and current situation of probability and statistics teaching, and then proposes some suggestions on the teaching of ＂Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics＂ from such three aspects as enhancing the construction of teaching materials, the stimulation of students＇ learning interest and the adoption of hierarchical teaching method, aiming to improve teaching quality.
