人居环境科学是城市规划专业本科教学的一门重要课程,不仅对于学生掌握规划的基本知识有很大的帮助,而且能够开拓学生的视野,培养学生的创新能力,将规划与宜居城市发展紧密地联系起来。人居环境观念已经作为城市规划理论教学的一个重要组成部分,在规划专业中扮演越来越重要的角色。在教学实践中,人居环境科学突出强调以学生为中心、以教师为主导、以理论课程为基础,以实践教学为手段,紧紧围绕学生培养目标,通过课程学习教师引导学生积极参与到实践中去,在实践过程中课程设置得到进一步完善。

Human settlement science is an important course for the undergraduate teaching of urban planning major, as it can not only greatly help students grasp the basic knowledge of planning, but also expand students＇ view and cultivate their innovative a- bility, so as to closely connect planning with the development of livable cities. The concept of human settlement has become an important part for the theory teaching of urban planning and plays a more and more important role in the planning major. In teach- ing practice, human settlement environment science focuses on the central role of students, the leading role of the teacher, the basic position of theory course, and practice teaching as the means, so as to closely center on the objective of student cultiva- tion, and further improve the curriculum setting in practice teaching through guiding students＇ active participation in prac- tice.
