技术价值论的研究具有重要的理论和实践意义。从实践上讲,开展技术价值论研究是技术实践健康发展的内在需要,是国家和民族发展的战略需要,是人类可持续发展的长远需要,是人全面自由发展的现实需要,是生态文明建设的迫切需要。从理论上讲,有助于开创技术价值理论研究的新局面,深化技术哲学的基础理论研究,开拓价值哲学研究的新领域,丰富高校哲学教育教学的内容。

Technological axiology research is of great theoretical and practical value. In terms of practice, it is the inner need of the healthy development of technological practice, a strategic need of the state and nation, a long-term need for human sustainable development, realistic need of people＇s comprehensive and free development, and an urgent need for ecological development. Theoretically, it is helpful for the development of new theoretical investigation, further research of technological philosophy, new domain of axiology, and teaching content in colleges and universities.
