Young students being the main force and the emergency of advanced journals and cultural associations in a great number are the characteristics of new literature in Hunan; the advocacy of vernacular literary symbolizes the rise of new literature in Hunan; and the appearance of new literature associations and journals marks new literature in Hunan heading towards maturity.
