论拉波夫的语言变化机制——以安徽无为县傅村父亲称谓变化为例

On Labov's Mechanism of Linguistic Change

拉波夫的成功在于其对语言变化机制的不懈追求,然而,他所概括出的机制毕竟只是基于美国社会所发生的语言变化,未必能够完全解释世界其他地区的语言变化。通过在傅村的调查,我们发现,在语言变异的性质、语言扩散的极限以及语言变化的社会基础等方面,傅村父亲称谓发所生的变化都与拉波夫的语言变化机制存在着明显的差异。可见,关于语言变化,拉波夫机制还不是最后的答案,还需要作进一步的修正。

Labov＇s success is that he pursues the mechanism of linguistic change. However, the mechanism generalized by Labor is only based on the linguistic changes in American society and may not explain the linguistic changes of other places in the world. Through the surveys in Fucun Village, it was found that there were some obvious differences between the change of Fucuners＇ title of father and Labor＇s mechanism of linguistic change on the nature of linguistic variation, the limit of linguistic spread and the social situation of linguistic change. Therefore, Labov＇s mechanism was not the final answer to linguistic change and still needed to be corrected further.
