Ideological and Political Education among College Students in the Light of PETOE

"卓越工程师教育培养计划"(以下简称"卓越计划")是我国高等教育的重大计划。"卓越计划"的实施不能忽略大学生思想政治教育。面对"卓越计划"给大学生思想政治教育带来了机遇与挑战,高校思政工作者,应提高对"卓越计划"的认识,把握"卓越计划"下大学生思想政治教育规律;紧抓"卓越计划"带来的机遇,使大学生思想政治教育取得实效;迎难而上,积极化解"卓越计划"给大学生思想政治教育带来挑战;培育追求卓越工程师梦想的大学生,使其将个人理想融入国家和民族的事业中,为实现中国梦添砖加瓦。

Since the Program for Educating and Training Outstanding Engineers （PETOE） is a major project of China＇ s higher education, further attention should be paid to the Ideological and Political Education among college students. In face of the opportunities and challenges brought by the implementing of PETOE, ideological and political workers in colleges are urgently required to enhance the understanding of PETOE and cling to such opportunities for better grasping the law and increasing the efficiency of Ideological and Political Education. As long as rising up to the challenges, dealing with the difficulties encountered, cultivating college students, especially with the ambition of being outstanding engineers, for the good combination of personal ideals and national causes, it contributes a lot to the realization of Chinese dream.
