摘要
《茶馆》虽然在舞台上展示了从清末到新中国成立前夕的半个世纪大陆社会面貌,而且《茶馆》主题被研究老舍主流专家们概括为"埋葬三个时代",但显然没有研究者把此剧当作历史剧来看待。《茶馆》并非"忆苦思甜"式的表现歌颂性主题的宣传剧,而应当被看作批判性的史诗剧。此剧主题是对国民性的揭示批判。这使《茶馆》在话剧舞台上堪与鲁迅小说《阿Q正传》相媲美。
While Teahouse displays the social status of the mainland from the late Qing dynasty to the eve of the foun ding of New China on stage, and the theme is concluded as "burying three times" by the mainstream research ex perts on Lao She, apparently no researcher considers it as a historical drama. Teahouse is not a propaganda drama with praising theme, but should be seen as a critical epic drama. Its theme is revealing and criticizing national char acter, which makes Teahouse comparable with Lu Xun' s Story of A Q on the stage of modern drama.
