中西方慈善文化传统资源的比较研究

A Comparative Study of Chinese and Western Charitable Culture Resources

中西方慈善文化在思想渊源和制度实践上存在不同。西方的慈善思想以基督教的"博爱""罪富"文化为主,个人主义传统和互济、志愿精神也影响着慈善事业的发展,民间慈善积极活跃,政府对民间慈善的作用主要是制度支持和法律规制。相对而言,我国的宗教慈善资源并未受到应有的重视,受儒家传统的家族和家庭本位思想的影响,我国的慈善组织具有官民二重性的特征,民间性不足。因此,应该汲取传统慈善资源的精髓,借鉴西方慈善文化的优点,促进我国慈善事业的发展。

China and the west charitable culture are different in the thought and institutional practice. Western charitable thought is Christian ＂universal love＂ and ＂sin of rich＂ culture;the tradition of individualism, each other aid and volunteerism also affect the development of philanthropy and folk charity activity; the government＇ s role is a system of support and legal regulation. Relatively, due attention has been given to the religious charitable resources of our country, by the thought of Confucian tradition of family standard, charitable organizations in China have the fea- ture of duality officer people;folk are insufficient. So we should absorb the essence of traditional charity resources, draw lessons from the advantages of western charitable culture, promote the development of philanthropy in China.
