对商品形式的反思与批判构成资本主义拜物教批判的核心。在资本主义社会,商品的生产与交换成为普遍的社会现象,商品形式也成为该社会中普遍存在的物的形式。劳动产品一旦采取了商品的形式,就获得了神秘的性质,成为资本主义拜物教产生的现实基础。资本主义拜物教批判正是要揭示商品的这一神秘性质,恢复使用价值相对于商品形式的本真性地位。随着生产时代向消费时代的转变,一种可以标示社会身份的符号价值被引入商品的内在结构当中,使价值形式产生的社会前提变得更加复杂,也使资本主义拜物教批判需要做出进一步的历史性反思。

The rethinking and critique on the ＂commodity form＂ is the kernel of the critique of capitalistic fetishism. In capital- istic society, the producing and exchanging of commodity become a kind of universal social phenomena, for this reason, commodity fnrm becomes the universal form of things that exist in our society. Once commodity form realizes itself, commodities become the reif- ying form of social relationship and the real basis on which capitalistic fetishism forms. The critique of capitalistic fetishism is to reveal the secret character of commodity. As our society turns from the production ear to the consumption era, symbolic value has been ab- sorbed into the inner structure of commodity that is able to signify the social status of some person. This makes the analysis of social condition of commodity form much more complicate, also needs the further historical rethinking to the critique of the capitalistic fetish-
