信息时代的空间观念--对流空间概念的反思与拓展

Concepts of Space in the Information Age——Reflections and Development of Space of Flows

在梳理当代空间观念的基础上,重点研究了曼纽尔·卡斯特流空间的概念、特征和基本结构,进而提出对信息时代空间观念的一些新的认识。在信息化时代,对空间的认识应该从物理视角向社会视角、关系视角和行动者网络视角转换。流空间作为一种交互网络化空间,具有快速交互性、非对称性、多维性、复杂网络性特征,由流要素、流载体、流节点和流支配系统四个部分组成,将在空间建构过程中发挥越来越重要的作用。

This article analyzes the concept of＇space of flows ＇（Castells） and proposes a new cognition of space in the information age, beyond the physical perspective, and related to the social, relationship and actor networks perspectives. Space of flows, as an interactive network, is characterized from four main features： rapid interaction, asymmetry, multi-dimension and complex networks. Furthermore, it consists of elements, medium, nodes and dominant system of flows. The authors suggest that space of flows will play an important role in the process of spatial construction in the information age.
