摘要 行人检测是计算机视觉领域极具挑战性的研究热点,它在智能交通、机器人开发和视频监控等领域具有重要应用。从行人检测所采用的特征着手,对现有的行人检测方法进行了分类和评述,分析了各类方法的优缺点,同时,介绍了常用的行人检测数据库的特点,最后分析了行人检测研究中存在的难题并对未来的发展做出展望。 Pedestrian detection is an active and challenging research topic in the field of computer vision. It has a lot of important applications in intel- ligent transportation, robot development, video surveillance and so on. Many different pedestrian detection methods are proposed. The typical pedestrian methods are classified into three categories according to the image features used. Merits and demerits of each class are discussed in detail. At the same time, the characteristics of some commonly used pedestrian datasets are introduced. Some problems with this research topic are analyzed. Finally the trend of this work is given.
