The influence of Ta-capacitor on the quality of electronic products was illuminated. Some simple methods to recognize different types of counterfeit components were put forward, such as comparing appearance, product marking, pin, size, packing of genuine parts with that of counterfeit parts. And two other methods were introduced such as limit environmental stress examination and electricity performance test. Finally, some suggestions and regulations of the purchasing system how to reply to counterfeit components were proposed, including on-arrival inspection, quality certificate, supplier evaluation, purchase strategy, etc.
