武汉“外脑大会”

International Advisors Meeting at Wuhan

每两年一次的武汉市政府国际咨询顾问团会议被称为“外脑大会”。2013年12月，来自美国、加拿大、英国等国家的32位顾问组成了新一届国际咨询顾问团。来自微软、标致雪铁龙、百威、家乐福等全球500强企业的国际顾问对武汉的城市发展建言，微软集团资深副总裁张亚勤与武汉经济技术开发区签署合作战略协议。

The Eighth Meeting of the International Advisory Council for Wuhan Government was held on Dec. 5, 2013. 32 international advisors,including 19 from the global 500, attended and discussed ideas for Wuhan's development. Mr. Jonathan Woetzel, the senior director of McKinsey & Company, and global head of MGI, said at the meeting that a good city should balance three aspects: environmental protection, economic growth and social progress. Mr. Gregoire Olivier, vice-president of the PSA Peugeot Citroen Group, suggested promoting and upgrading the automobile industry to power Wuhan's Construction of a National Central City.
