The working principle and structure characteristic of lever-ball float steam trap, with single seat or double seat, were analyzed comprehensively. And a lever-ball float steam trap with ＂ complete balance type＂ double seat sealing structure was proposed. By the improved design of key structure and the optimization of important parameters, the overall performance indicators have been greatly im- proved. The application field and service life was extended greatly.
