Regional economic governance keeps consistent with global economic governance in subject, object and mode, and it is an important part of global economic governance. Gulf Cooperation Council （GCC） has achieved significant results in economic cooperation since its creation; and its political and economic influence extends gradually beyond the Gulf. GCC has increasing systemic importance in regional and global economic systems by its unique advantages such as rich petroleum resource, huge petro-dollars, etc. ; it has become a powerful force of global and regional economic governance. It is GCC＇ s distinctive feature in regional economic cooperation that makes it to engage in global and regional economic governance effectively, which provides a useful lesson for the integration of global economic governance and regional economic governance.
