摘要
一般认为太谷学派是一近代儒学民间化、宗教化的典型个案。从现存太谷学派遗书内容来看,学派早期确有秘密宗教性质。太谷学派第三代传人黄葆年对学派的神秘主义思想和行为方式作了修正,淡化了学派的宗教色彩,使其作为学术团体焕发了新生。
It is generally believed that Taigu School was a typical case of folk and religious Confucianism.An exploration into the existing books of Taigu School shows that the School in its early stage did have the nature of a secret religion.Huang Baonian,the third-generation heir of Taigu School, had rectified its mysticism in thought and behavior,thus weakening its religious hue and reviving it as an academic community.
