再论女性/性别研究学科建设

Rethink on the Construction of Women/Gender Studies Disciplinary

中国女性/性别研究已形成一个新的学术领域,考察其学科建设三方面——学术共同体、学术研究和学位教育——的状况和进程,不难发现,"顶层设计"方式为该领域的形成营造了合适的社会氛围和外部条件,而"摸着石头过河"才是女性/性别研究学科建设的基本之道。这不仅因为该领域具有明显的跨学科性,其研究对象、研究队伍和研究成果均与其他多个领域产生交集;而且因为学术研究在于求实、求是、求真、求新,知识创新就要探索不止;还因为学术共同体的范式和运行机制是在其自主自治的学术活动中逐渐形成的,成长之中的女性/性别研究尤其如此。

Women/gender studies in China has developed into a new academic field, and through examining three aspects of its discipline construction： the academic community, the academic research and degree education, condition and process, it is not hard to find, the way of ＂top-level design＂ has established a suitable social atmosphere and external conditions for the formation of the field. And ＂crossing the river by feeling stones＂ is the basic way for the construction of women/gender studies discipline. This is not just because the field has exhibited obvious interdisciplinary quality its research object, team and achievements usually overlap with those in other areas, because the academic research should be seeking truth, realistic and innovative, and because the paradigm and operational mechanism of academic community is gradually formed in the independent and autonomous academic activities. It is true particularly for the growth of women/gender studies.
