A Study on Both Li Bai and Du Fu's Fu

唐人继承魏晋南北朝时期以诗赋为纯文学中心的传统,赋在唐代文学创作中仍占重要地位。本文从赋的创作思想、李杜在赋体创作上的各自定位、赋风与赋艺这样几个方面对李杜赋体创作进行比较系统的讨论。李、杜以诗家而兼擅赋体,其赋学思想继承汉代而有所发展,主要是引诗学入赋学。赋体在李、杜的创作定位不同,李白在赋体创作中具有与其诗体创作相近的通过复古而全面突破赋史的宏伟计划,其赋体以讽喻、抒情为主,杜赋创作集中于中年,属于唐人献赋求仕的创作行为,其赋以雅颂为主。但李、杜赋都具有纯正的内容,都有丰富的政治主题。

Fu （赋, descriptive prose interspersed with verse） played an important role in the Tang Dynasty, because the literati regarded poetry and Fu as two main forms of pure literature, which was inherited from the Wei and Jin Dynasties. This article is intended to make a systematic study on Li Bai and Du Fu＇ s Fu by means of studying the positioning, and the stylistic and artistic quality of their Fu＇ s writing. As two famous poets, Li and Du were also expert in the Fu-style. Their thinking of the Fu-style was inherited from the Han Dynasty, and developed mainly by guiding poetics into Fu-study. Li and Du＇ s difference was reflected in their positioning of Fu. Li Bai＇ s Fu possessed a grand designing in making a breakthrough in the history of Fu by reverting back to the old ways of writing, which was similar to his poem-writing. His Fu-style was mainly characterized with allegory and lyric. Du Fu＇s Fu, mainly written when he was middle-aged, belonged to the category of contributing the creation to get an official position in the Tang Dynasty. His Fu-style was mainly characterized with singing the praises. Both of their Fu had pure contents and rich political themes.
