"hold", English is "suppression", "bound", "control". The function of living organisms ( and the cor responding structure) have different levels of evolution, developmental sense. The relationship between different levels of function, high level functions to the cerebral cortex and sympathetic nerve on behalf of inhibition, control of lower level functions. Under normal circumstances, the high level function "can hold" low level function. Deficiency syndrome ( de ficiency of Qi and yang deficiency refers to the case), weaken the high level of intensity function. Therefore, "cannot hold" low level function, anti elastic strength low level enhancement. Deficiency condition, high level function "cannot hold" low level function, infantile enuresis is the obvious example. Infantile enuresis, refers to the children to control uri nation age, and often sleep at night, involuntary urination. Central nervous system on urination control development, is from the lower central reflex gradually to the cerebral cortex of conscious control of the process. Enuresis in children due to lack of growth retardation, cerebral cortex excitability, thus lower central and voiding mechanism corresponding overly ac tive, the nighttime unconscious urination. At the same time, to highlight the performance of infantile enuresis of Asthenia Cold syndrome. So, from the infantile enuresis, high level function "cannot hold" low level features, pathological charac teristics of deficiency syndrome.
