摘要
提出了一种由两段正交的半模基片集成波导(HMSIW)构成的十字型定向耦合器。位于交叉区域的两个感性金属化调节通孔主要用来调整耦合器的耦合度以及耦合端和直通端的相位差,而位于每一个输入输出端的金属化匹配通孔则用来优化输入端的反射系数。与传统的基片集成波导(SIW)耦合器相比,所设计的耦合器能减少将近一半的尺寸,而它的性能却基本保持不变。实测结果与仿真结果基本吻合,验证了设计方法的正确性与可行性。
This paper presents a cruciform directional coupler, which is composed of two cross half mode substrate in- tegrated waveguide (HMSIW) sections having two inductive metallic adjusting vias in cross region, and one matching via at each input/output port. Two adjusting vias can he used to adjust the coupling ratio and phase difference between coupling port and through port, while each matching via can be used to achieve a low return loss at input port. Compared with conven- tional substrate integrated wavegnide (SIW) coupler, the metal size of the proposed coupler is reduced by half meanwhile its performance is maintained. The measured results are in agreement with the simulated results, which validates the concept of the HMSIW coupler and its design method.
