This is a comprehensive analysis on the resource of natural gas as a clean fuel for vehicle as well as itsexhaust pollution, safety and economics. It is pointed out that development of LNGV as preferable traffic tools is ofmost importance for the purification of the atmosphere of urban area and for the scientific way of energy utilization,while the key item to the popularization of LNGV is some technology problems in LNGV and the gas service station.
