It looks like Li Zhiguo,the37-year-old founder of Ameba Capital,has another success on his hands with personal financial APP 'Wacai' the users of which exploded during the second half of 2013.However,this success is not something that happened over night.When APP developer Hangzhou Wacai Science was established four years ago it had difficulty attracting users and finding the right business model,and for awhile things weren't looking good for the founding team.Luckily,the rising popularity of mobile finance over the past year has launched Wacai into the spotlight.Now the next challenge facing the company will be figuring out how to utilize the data of the APP's current 60 million users to provide better services to its customers while also ensuring that this information can be kept secure.Meeting these challenges will be the key to the future development of this APP and its company.
