Seed treatment is an important aspect of integrated pest management programmes. The definition, advantages and disadvantages, methods, major pesticides and formulations of seed treatment are summarized in this paper. And the application, problems and theirs solutions and trend of seed treatment agents in crop protection are also discussed.
