摘要
利用变分法研究无限非局域热非线性介质中矢量孤子的传输特性.首先对试探解高斯-高斯光束进行变分分析,得到关于振幅、束宽、相位和波前曲率的演化方程;然后利用势函数对形成矢量孤子的束宽变化进行分析;最后对变分计算得到的结果进行数值验证.结果表明:当初始功率P0=2π时,高斯-高斯光束是矢量孤子很好的近似;而当P0<2π时,光束束宽先压缩后展宽,形成周期性振荡;当P0>2π时,光束束宽先展宽后压缩,形成周期性振荡.
Variational approach was used to investigate the propagation property of vector solitons in infinite nonlocal non- linear thermal media. Firstly, the vector solitons were analyzed by variational approach with Gaussian-Gaussian beams as the input, the evolution equations which described the amplitude, beam width, phase and wave front curvature were achieved. And then the changes of beam width that could form the vector solitons were analyzed by potential function. Fi- nally, the results of variational calculations were conformed by numerical simulation. Several conclusions are obtained, forinitial power P0=√2πthe Gaussian-Gaussian beams are good approximations of vector solitons, and for P0 〈√2πthe beam width first compresses then broadens with period manner, while for P0 〉√2πthe beam width first broadensthen compresses with period manner.
