The Deconstruction and Construction——The Report of the China Abstract Sculpture Exhibition Held in 2013

由中国工艺美术学会雕塑专业委员会、《雕塑》杂志社、湖北美术馆联合举办的＂解构与建构——2013中国抽象雕塑艺术展＂于11月8日至12月8日在湖北美术馆展出。开幕式于2013年11月8日上午举行,同日下午举行研讨会。参加活动的嘉宾包括三家主办方的多位领导,国内著名的美术批评家、理论家,湖北省内美术界重要人士,参展艺术家以及多家媒体。此次展览汇集了50余位艺术家的70余件抽象作品。

On November 8, 2013 to December 8, 2013, ＂The Deconstruction and Construction--China Abstract Sculpture Exhibition＂ was held in the National Art Museum of Hubei province.It was jointly organized by the Sculpture Professional Committee of China Arts and Crafts Association, China Sculpture Magazine and the National Art Museum of Hubei province.This exhibition brings together more than 70 abstract sculpture works of more than 50 artists, after the opening ceremony they also held an academic conference.The theme of this exhibition was ＂Deconstruction and Construction＂ ,it means that the process of evolution from concretization to abstract is the deconstructive process of concretization,and durning this process, the new representational form had been constructed,this is a kind of form which had already surpassed people＇ s inherent visual experience.
