Sculpture is not just the Visualized Object

这似乎已经成为了一个不争的事实：我们正处于一个图像复制和泛滥的时代,世界被转译成图像并成为人们获取信息,认识世界的首选方式。我们的生活充斥着各种各样的视觉符号,我们的眼睛经受着各种形状、图案和色彩持续不断的轮番刺激。如同正处于亢奋状态下的情绪和对烈酒持续递增的渴望,感官对视觉强度的要求也变得愈加欲壑难填。

Contemporary art is in an era of image replication and image overflow, and the development of artistic ex- pression and systematic language of sculptures in nowadays had already become quite perfect, however,as for the usage of sculptural materials,it still has an invisible ＂rule＂ .Because of the contemporary society and modern culture are constantly refreshing our own world and our consciousness with the extreme advanced way,so that if artists want to change some aspects of traditional art,the values of sculptures in terms of modern society,may become much more clear. A sculpture which contains the cultural conceptions of modem soci- ety should be composed by ＂visual thought＂ ,＂ material thinking＂ and ＂body thought＂
