摘要 改革开放以来,尤其是20世纪90年代以来,艺术与中国社会、文化和人们的生存状态发生着千丝万缕的联系。而与此同时迅速发展的现代传媒技术,以及资讯的国际化、全球经济的一体化、文化的趋近、趋同化倾向,又将中国艺术不自觉地推进到国际背景当中去,并潜在地影响和规定着中国艺术的多向度发展。当代中国雕塑正是在这样的前提下, In the context of "a new paradigm of authority and knowledge formed under the pressure of new technolo- gies and contemporary social forces" and it also called "pseudo-modernism" ,which put forward by Alan Kirby ,it is obvious that the problem of sculptures had already surpassed the aesthetic perception and techni- cal issues.Artists "should realize timely that they own the significant spirits which are more important than their personal spirits" (put forward by T. S. Eliot ).sculpture is medium,it is a method which used for sculptors to pay attention to people' s existence and to figure out people' s identities under the specific period.
