The general situation of the agricultural development of the Republic of Congo, the advantageous natural conditions and good social conditions are briefly introduced. It is suggested that the Republic of Congo should utilize the advantages and build up sound systems and mechanisms to strengthen international cooperation, accelerate the cooperation with the China-Aiding Congo Agricultural Technology Demonstration Centre in the field of cassava, expanding the cultivated area and extending the industry train of cassava. It serves as a reference for the country to gradually solve the problem of its food security, improve the level of the people＇s life and ensure the steady development of the country.
