In recent years, smog has become a hot topic in China. With the exacerbation of air quality in China's big cities, the smoggy weathers frequently occur, which produce serious harm.Across the territory of China nobody fails to turn pale when smog is mentioned. Many big cities in China, such as Beijing and Shanghai, have been struck by haze.Nearly half of the territory of China is polluted by haze.Qingdao, which is honored as the 'Eastern Switzerland,' cannot escape the attack ol haze and has become an area where haze occurs frequently and seriously. The discussions on the treatment of smog have become a hot topic on the Internet forums. When haze encounters firecrackers, the collision between the reality and the folk custom will be produced.Despite the fact that some people advocate that lighting of firecrackers should be allowed during the folk festival periods and some scholars don't agree that firecrackers actually increase the lormation of haze, many people regard firecrackers as a source of smog.As a result, the prohibition of lighting firecrackers during the traditional folk festivals will be inevitable.
