On May 6th 2013,the inaugural meeting of the Shandong Capital City Circle Tourism League was jointly sponsored by the municipal governments of Jinan,Zibo,Jining,Taian,Laiwu,Dezhou,Liaocheng,Binzhou,the 8 member cities.In Jinan,professionals in the tourism industry witnessed the official establishment of Shandong Capital City Circle Tourism League and the beginning of win-win cooperation.The 8 city tourism bureau directors signed the declaration on cooperation,and reached common understandings as shown below:tourism product integration and interactive city tours;unified tourism planning and marketing;shared and refined information service;intercity transportation construction;festival events integration and innovation;accessibility;and a system of united conferences.Yu Fenggui,the vice director of Shandong provincial Tourism Bureau said that the inauguration of Shandong Capital City Circle Tourism League actually contributed to urban tourism planning and construction and moreover created a lot of confidence among citizens and city managers.Recendy,the 'all-purpose travel card' was jointly launched by the member cities in order to raise the awareness of the tourism unification.Furthermore,a full range of public service systems for tourism is now under construction and soon to be initiated.
