随着家具企业竞争的日益激烈,企业对产品开发越来越重视。更低的产品开发成本,更短的开发周期,更高的产品质量,已成为新产品开发的趋势然而,大多数家具企业实行的传统的串行工程开发模式,产品设计过程与制造加工过程存在脱节现象,产品开发效率低下,不能适应时代潮流。在这种情况下,采用面向制造和装配的设计策略,实施并行工程,为更高效的产品开发提供了一条可行之路本文介绍了面向制造和装配设计的概念,分析了其在家具开发中的应用前景,最后分享实施经验。

With increasing competition in furniture industry, enterprises pay more attention to product de- velopment. Lower product development costs, shorter development cycles and higher product quality has become a trend in new product development. However, the traditional Sequential Engineering-SE devel- opment mode no longer meet the trend because of its poor efficiency. Under these circumstances, design for manufacturing and assembly provides a more efficient way. The paper first introduces the concept of design for manufacturing and assembly, and then analyzes its prospects in furniture development process. In the end, the authors share some implementation experiences in order to provide reference for it＇s suc- cessful implementation in furniture enterprises.
