This paper introduced the workflow of sampling apparatus of coal as fired, through the statistics and analysis of sampling rate of the coal as fired, the problems existed in the sampling process of coal as fired were discovered. It was also discussed that some measurements should be taken in order to improve the sampling representativeness. Thus, the normal operation of sampling apparatus could be ensured and the coal sample could truly reflect the quality of coal as fired.
