Rationality Evaluation on Use of Chinese Patent Medicine in Outpatients

目的调查医院门诊中成药使用现状,评价中成药使用合理性。方法利用处方评价系统提取医院2009年至2012年门诊中成药处方,对中成药使用情况进行汇总、评价,并进行排序,按种类点评中成药使用合理性,按年龄阶段评价中成药使用现状。结果 2009年至2012年中成药采购金额年平均增长24.00%;中成药使用率年平均增长11.50%;活血化瘀类中成药使用居多;18岁以下及60岁以上人群使用中成药普遍。结论门诊患者中成药使用量过大,存在滥用现象,药师应加强监管,提高中成药使用合理性。

Objective To investigate the current situation of the use of Chinese patent medicines in outpatient and to evaluate the use rationality of Chinese patent medicines. Methods The prescription evaluation system was adopted to extract the prescriptions of Chinese patent medicines in our hospital from 2009 to 2012. The use situation of Chinese patent medicines was summarized, evaluated and sort- ed. The use rationality of Chinese patent medicines was commented according to different varieties and the current use situation of Chi- nese patent medicines was evaluated according to different age grades. Results The purchasing amount of Chinese patent medicines had average annual growth of 24.00% from 2009 to 2012; the use rate of Chinese patent medicines had annual average growth rate of l l. 50%; Chinese patent medicines with activating blood and dissolving stasis were predominant; the population aged below 18 years old and over 60 years old use Chinese patent medicines widely. Conclusion The use amount of Chinese patent medicines in outpatients is too large, which had abuse phenomenon, pharmacists should strengthen the regulation of Chinese patent medicines for increasing the use rationality of Chinese patent medicines.
