从语言实际运用的角度探析高职英语语法教学

摘要 语法教学是外语教学过程中的重要环节,是培养学生语言交际能力的基础。当前,高职院校英语语法教学普遍着眼于语法结构,在教学过程中,教师考虑的只是语法规则,把语法作为一种孤立的知识来传授,以灌输式的方法单纯地向学生讲解语法条目和规则。本文提出在高职高专语法教学中应以"应用为主"的英语教学原则,注重语法在语言中的交际功能,结合语言的实际运用进行语法教学的设想,从而教会学生灵活运用语法规则,有效地表达自己的思想,并有效地进行交际。最后本文从英语中的时态、句法结构和语篇层次等方面的语法现象进行了深入细致的探析,从而让学生结合实际应用和交际功能的需要积极地学习语法。 Grammar teaching is essential in foreign language teaching and also the foundation to improve students’ cross-cultural communicative competence. At present, the grammar teaching of English in higher vocational colleges is generally focused on the grammatical structure. In the process of teaching, teachers usually just consider the rules of each separate grammar, cramming grammar rules to students. In this paper, the author comes up with some ideas on grammar teaching in the light of its communicative function in English language and its practical situation. The author argues that grammar teaching of English students at HVC can be conducted from the angle of practical application according to the principle of application and the need of real environment. Thus, the present paper probes into such grammatical categories as tense, syntactic structure and discourse so that the students can learn grammar well in real situation.
