Ways of Improving Students' Abilities in Expressing Chinese Culture in English

跨文化交际的双向交流性要求英语专业的学生能用地道的英语来表达中国文化,但随着"中国文化失语症"现象的产生,英语专业学生中国文化英语表达的能力得到了重视。从英语专业学生在表达能力上出现的缺失着手,指出解决"中国文化失语症"现象应提高学生平时文化学习的意识,加强师生的中国文化学习并鼓励学生多阅读。

In the need of bilingual abilities in cross-culture communication, English majors are required to express Chinese culture in idiomatic English. But with the occurrence of ＂aphasia of Chinese culture＂, experts began to focus on it. This paper discusses the main problems when students express Chinese culture in English and put forward the solutions to these problems：fostering students＇ awareness in learning culture;enhancing teachers＇ and students＇ Chinese culture learning and encouraging students＇ after-class reading.
