经济建设是党的中心工作,意识形态工作是党的一项极端重要的工作。能否做好意识形态工作,事关党的前途命运、国家长治久安和民族凝聚力和向心力。只有旗帜鲜明地亮明和坚持自己的意识形态,才能说服和吸引最广大的人民群众,并使之转化成为建设社会主义的巨大的物质力量。只有物质文明建设和精神文明建设都搞好,国家物质力量和精神力量都增强,中国特色社会主义事业才能顺利向前推进。意识形态工作的领导权、管理权、话语权牢牢掌握在手中,任何时候都不能旁落,否则就要犯无可挽回的历史性错误。

While economical work is the main task of the CPC, ideological work is also its extremely important one. Whether or not conducting the ideological work well has a close relation to the future of the CPC, the stability of China, and the unity of Chinese peo- ple. Only strongly insisting on our own ideology can we persuade and attract the mass people and change it into the material force for constructing socialism; only well conducting both material civilization and spiritual civilization construction, well strengthening China＇ s material force and spiritual force can the Socialism with Chinese ehaxaeteristics move forward smoothly. Therefore, the leadership, administration authority, and speaking fight must be within control, otherwise some irreversible historical mistakes might he made.
