On Major Setting of Higher Vocational Colleges in Guangzhou under the Background of Industrial Upgrading

高等职业院校的专业设置是连接学校与社会、教育与经济的纽带,专业设置是否科学合理,是职业教育为实现高职教育人才培养目标,提高教育质量,满足社会需求的关键环节。广州市高职院校的专业设置与产业结构存在一定的差距,在广州市产业升级背景下,高职院校的专业设置要做出相应的调整才能适应经济发展转型的需要。

Major setting of higher vocational colleges connects schools to society, education to economy; therefore, scientific and reasonable design of major setting is crucial to the realization of the talents training goal and the teaching-quality improvement of higher vocational education which meet the needs of society. The major setting in higher vocational colleges of Guangzhou can not meet the need of industrial structure under the background of industrial upgrading in Guangzhou, so higher vocational colleges should make corresponding adjustment to meet the needs of economic transformation.
