煅烧硫酸钙晶须用于废纸浆生产文化用纸填料 被引量:7

摘要 针对高温煅烧硫酸钙晶须(CSW)的结构特点,对CSW-1、CSW-2、重质碳酸钙(GCC)3种填料以及与不同填料的配比在纸张中的留着及其纸页物理性质进行了比较以探究其作为造纸填料的潜力。结果表明,在相同加填量的情况下,高温煅烧硫酸钙晶须能有效改善纸页的物理性能,其手抄片的定量、纸页灰分、填料留着率、纸张挺度均高于重质碳酸钙,而抗张指数及双耐折次数略有下降。但在相同填料留着率的情况下,3种填料的纸页抗张指数及双耐折次数基本相同,而在吸油墨性及纸页松厚度方面CSW贡献更大。通过不同填料配比侧面表征其对留着的影响得知,硫酸钙晶须所占比例越大,填料留着率越高。电镜扫描图进一步表明了硫酸钙晶须在纸页中的留着方式,能够很好地穿插和搭桥,赋予纸页松散和高空隙结构。硫酸钙晶须是一种具有高留着率和高松厚度特性的优良填料。 The retention and paper physical properties of the calcium carbonate (GCC), CaSO4 1and CaSO4 9,nd the ratio of filler in the handsheet were compared to explore their potential as papermaking filler. The results showed that the physical properties of the handsheet could be effectively improved by calcium sulfate whisker (CSW) calcined in high temperature at the same filler loading. The basis weight, ash content, filler retention and stiffness of the paper were higher than that using heavy calcium carbonate, but the tensile index and double folding times was decreased slightly. Three kinds of fillers showed at the same tensile index and double folding times at the same filler retention, and the CSW showed much contribution in the ink absorption and sheet thickness. The greater the proportion of calcium sulphate whisker was, the higher filler retention was. Scanning electron microscope indicated that the retention way of the calcium sulfate whisker in the the handsheets is very good to insert and bypass, which makes the sheet loose and with high air gap structure.
