摘要
英语交流意愿(Willingness to Communicate,WTC)是能否提高大学生英语交流水平的关键。本研究旨在调查与总结影响大学生WTC的主要因素,并结合当前认知科学的主要研究成果(如:元认知理论、动机理论、图式理论、图形背景等)来阐释这些因素。一方面可以为大学英语教学提出相关建议;另一方面也可以体现认知科学对具体认知活动的阐释力和指导意义。
College students' willingness to communicate (WTC)in English plays a major role in im- proving their English communicative abilities. This research aims at researching and summarizing the factors that influence students' WTC. Some major cognitive theories, such as Metacognition Theory, Motivation Theory, Schema Theory, Figure -ground, etc. , are adopted to explain the factors. For one thing, we intend to make some instructional implications;for another, we want to show the wide appli- cations and remarkable significance of cognitive science.
