观赏草新品种剑江沿阶草的选育

A Breeding Report of New Ornamental Grass Variety of Ophiopogon bodinieri

为选育出质优、耐阴、观赏性好的本土观赏草品种应用于生产,以2001年在贵州省境内采集到的野生沿阶草植株为原始群体,采用系统选育法,经多年栽培驯化,育成了观赏草新品种剑江沿阶草。该品种叶色深绿、有光泽,质地精细,分蘖能力强,耐热、耐寒,全年青绿。适应性、抗性及观赏性明显优于对照,于2012年6月通过了全国草品种审定委员会审定(登记号:446)。适宜于长江以南年降雨量在800mm以上的亚热带地区种植,尤其是在冷季型草坪草还未有真正大面积应用的南亚热带地区,用来建植高质量的园林观赏草坪及台阶植草效果非常好。

In order to breed high-quality, high-shade tolerance and ornamental good native ornamental grass varieties and apply in production. The wild O. bodinieri groups that collected in Guizhou in 2001 were used as the primitive raaterials, which were selected by using the systematic breeding method, and been domesticated by cultivation for about ten years, the new variety of ornamental grass O. bodinieri was bred. The new variety^s leaves are dark green, glossy, fine texture, and it has tense tillering ability, annual green period, high heat resistance and cold resistance. It＇s adaptability, resistance and ornamental value are superior to the control. It is suitable to the subtropical area lies on the south of the Changjiang River, where annual rainfall is over 800 mm, especially to those south subtropical regions where the cold- season turf grass has not really been applied, which can be used to establish high quality ornamental lawn. It was registered as released by the National Forages Variety Appraisal Committee in 2012（registration number： 446）.
