郑汴新区发展方向思辩——提议建设大开封

The Reflecition and Debation on the development directions of Zheng bian Newly-Development Area——Proposal of Constructing Large Kaifeng

就郑汴新区的定位和发展方向提出了自己的看法,提出郑州、开封、郑汴新区应该通过一体化发展最终形成一个超级大城市。从文化底蕴、历史内涵和国内外认可度,城市名称应定名为开封。文章还就城市安全,即消除黄河水患威胁提出开挖第二黄河,以利防洪、灌溉、水运发展等建议。

In this paper, we share our views on the positioning and development direction of Zhengbian Newly- Developed Area, we point out that Zhengzhou, Kaifeng and Zhengbian Newly-Developed Area should finally form a metropolitan through integration development. According to cultural heritage, historical connotation, and domestic and international recognition, the city should be named Kaifeng. In this paper, we also considered the city safety ,a.k.a. eliminate the threat of flooding of the Yellow River , and bring up the idea of begin constructing the second Yellow River, to facilitate flood control, irrigation and development of waterway transportation, etc.
