压强对Ce:YIG晶体铁磁共振及Faraday转动的影响

Effect of the Pressure on Iron Magnetic Resonance and Faraday Rotation in Ce:YIG

摘要 研究了Ce:YIG晶体中与交换作用等效的分子场以及阻尼系数随晶体生长环境压强的变化,给出了定量关系。据此研究了该晶体的铁磁共振线宽和Ce3+离子的法拉第旋转角随压强的变化,在压强为1.33~13.30Pa范围内,计算得到的Ce:YIG晶体的铁磁共振线宽以及Ce3+离子的法拉第旋转角与实验符合较好。结果表明,Ce:YIG晶体的磁性和磁光性能都对压强有一定的依赖性,适当控制晶体生长环境压强的大小,对制备出高性能的磁光材料是重要的。 The variations of the damping coefficient and molecule field with the pressure are investigated, and the quantitative forms are given in Ce.. YIG crystal. The variations of the line width of iron magnetic resonance and the magneto optic Faraday rotations with the pressure are presented. The calculated results are agreement with the measured values in the pressure range of 1.33-13.30 Pa. The investigation indicates the dependence of the magnetic and magnetoMoptic properties of Ce..YIG crystal on the pressure. It is important that the pressure should be controlled properly in the preparation of materi- als.
