文章提出水质污染的多元回归分析方法 ,并以湟水流域 1998年年平均水质污染指标为例 ,对其进行多元回归及逐步回归分析 ,实证分析的结果与其它方法所得结论一致 ,并收到较好的效果 .

A method of multivariate statistical analysis on water pollution is discussed,and illustrate this method with examples that the average index numbre of HUANGSHUI water area in 1998.it's proved by multivariate statistical analysis and other method ,and the result within the limits permitted by error.The multivariate statistical analysis has own advantages,it has little probability of error and more simpler.
