陈独秀与蔡元培教育思想之比较

Comparison between Chen Duxiu's and Cai Yuanpei's Education Thoughts

陈独秀、蔡元培都是中国现代教育的先驱者和奠基者。他们的教育思想差异很大,对现当代中国教育的影响也迥然不同。本文从教育兴国、教育强国理念的提出,现代新式教育的科学构想与实践,以"科学""民主"为统领的现代教育观,以培养新国民为旨归的世界观、人生观教育思想,着眼于塑造青少年健全人格的现代美育思想等多个维度与层次,对蔡元培、陈独秀教育思想进行了系统梳理和深入比较,并对他们教育思想的不同的历史贡献与影响进行了阐述分析。蔡元培和陈独秀的教育思想虽然差异很大,但是它们应该也可以相融互补。对其进行深入诠释和深度综合,并加以吸收和借鉴,有益于我国国民教育的当前改革和未来发展。

Chen Duxiu and Cai Yuanpei are pioneers and founders of Chinese modern education.Their education thoughts have great differences,and impacted Chinese modern education in totally different ways.This paper summarizes and compares their education thoughts.Furthermore,it analyzes their historical contribution and impacts.The author discusses multiple aspects of their thoughts,including the proposition of the idea of rejuvenating and developing the country through education,the scientific conception and practice of the new modern education,view of modern education leading by'science'and'democracy',the education of the view of the world and life that seeks to cultivate new citizens,and the modern aesthetic education that models teenagers' sound personality.Although their education thoughts have great differences,they should be compatible and complementary.The interpretation,summarization,absorption and referential of their thoughts will contribute to Chinese education's reformation and development.
