摘要
A highly sensitive method for the spectrophotometric determination of germanium with salicyflourone (SAF) in the presence of poly (vinyl alcohol), hexadecyltrimethylaxnmonium bromide has has been developed. In a medium of 0. 01 6mol/L-0. 024mol/L hydrochloric old,germanium(IV) forms a red-purple complex with the above reagents. The wavelength of maximum absorbance of this complex was at 528urn,the molar absorptivity was 1. 85 × 105L. mol-1. cm-1 and Beer’s law was obeyed in the concentration range of 0-10ug/25mL. The method has been used for the determination of microamounts of Ge(IV) in plants with satisfactory results.
