This paper discusses the standard curve producing of acetaldehyde content in bottle grade pet chips by headspace gas chromatography .The chromatographic operational details such as sample amount,linear range were studied.The repeatability and reproducibility of method are improved.The more practicable method ensure the determination accuracy of acetaldehyde content in bottle grade PET chips and its production.
